The Space

Stay comfortably in the jungle surrounded by tropical rainforest and wildlife while enjoying MILLION-DOLLAR VIEWS! Villa Mariposa offers some of the most unique and picturesque views in all of Jacó. The location provides a quick walk to the beach and easy access to downtown Jacó, where you’ll find all the shops, restaurants, and bars. It’s less than a 5-minute drive away!

Nestled on the hillside of one of Jacó’s biggest attractions, Miro Mountain, this cozy, private, and unique architectural gem features high-end amenities and elegant design. It’s a photographer’s and sunset lover’s dream! Be warned—you may never want to leave! We have an excellent team that works tirelessly to ensure your entire experience is enjoyable and stress-free.

This is the only house built within the famous nature reserve. That means unmatched privacy and breathtaking views of the entire Pacific coastline and Jacó skyline that cannot be replicated anywhere else. There are no neighbors (so there are no noise restrictions), but there are plenty of wildlife visits. Toucans are known to fly right up to the bedroom windows, and monkeys are often spotted directly from the infinity pool.

The home features a thoughtfully designed open-concept floor plan that seamlessly blends indoor and outdoor living spaces, creating ample room to enjoy the surrounding environment while taking advantage of the villa’s amenities. Relax and take in the stunning scenery from the private balconies, infinity pool, luxury hot tub, kitchen, living room, bedrooms, and even the bathrooms.

We may be in the jungle, but we have all the comforts of North America. The kitchen features brand-new stainless-steel appliances and countertops. It is fully equipped with everything a professional chef would need to prepare amazing meals. The open-concept living and dining area includes our handcrafted 14-foot wooden dining table, which comfortably seats large groups. There is also fast Wi-Fi (200 Mbps), a 75-inch flat-screen TV with Netflix, a waterfall, hot tub, pool table, barbecue grill, safes, bar area, and powerful new air-conditioning units in every room.

Sleeping Arrangements

Each bedroom has its own en-suite bathroom except for those located in the basement. We use only high-quality linens and provide new mattresses throughout.

Bedroom 1: Master suite with 14-foot ceilings and private bathroom. King-size bed. Ocean and jungle views from both the bedroom and bathroom. Air conditioning. Access to the second-floor terrace.

Bedroom 2: 14-foot ceilings and private bathroom. Ocean and jungle views from the bedroom. One queen-size bed and one twin bed. Air conditioning. Access to the second-floor terrace.

Bedroom 3: One double bed. Ocean and jungle views from both the bedroom and bathroom. Air conditioning. Access to the first-floor terrace.

Bedroom 4: Bunk bed with a queen-size bed on the bottom and a twin bed on top. Air conditioning.

Guest Access

The entire villa is yours, and you have direct access to the hiking trail right outside your door.

Other Things to Note

Located at the beginning of the hiking trail, and the road leading up the mountain is paved but steep. A 4×4 vehicle is not required. Designated parking is available, but it can be challenging if there are many vehicles, so please limit your group to 3 cars.

Extremely secure, but due to the nature of bachelor parties and men’s group trips, personal security is required at night. Ask about rates.

Complimentary golf cart, but it requires a damage deposit and a signed rental agreement. Please arrange this in advance to guarantee availability. It is not available for last-minute one-night stays.
